Quality Assurance Officer

Job Description

**Job Title:** Quality Assurance Officer **Role Summary:** Manage the lifecycle of products from early development through commercial production, ensuring all processes and products meet legal, market, and customer requirements. Oversee validation plans, conduct audits, and make independent release decisions while fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. **Experiences:** - Master’s degree in Science or equivalent scientific background. - First‑hand experience in quality or production, preferably within a GMP environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee product portfolio through development to routine production, maintaining compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards. - Create and evaluate validation plans and reports, granting or re‑evaluating process validity as needed. - Coordinate with R&D, Production, QC, IPC, and other departments to investigate deviations and implement process changes. - Review and analyze critical data (API, intermediates, finished products) to determine compliance and make release decisions. - Build and maintain long‑term relationships with internal partners and external customers or authorities. - Lead external audits and guide customers/authorities through quality documentation. - Maintain a structured, efficient work approach and support operational excellence initiatives. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch and English; capacity to present arguments clearly. - Ability to oversee multiple processes with a “helicopter view.” - Independent work ethic combined with effective teamwork. - Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook; experience with SAP and SharePoint is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s degree in Science (or equivalent experience). - Solid knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry and pharmaceutical regulations. - GMP experience (preferred).
