Job Description

**Job Title:** Software Developer I **Role Summary:** Design, code, test, and maintain software applications throughout the development lifecycle. Conduct research, document specifications, troubleshoot issues, and produce status reports. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver functional, reliable solutions. **Expectations:** - 0‑2 years of professional software development experience. - Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. - Strong written and verbal communication; effective teamwork and independent work. - Adaptability to learn new technologies quickly. - Attention to detail, logical thinking, and proactive problem‑solving. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and modify code according to specifications (Linux, Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, Vue.js). - Test, evaluate, and debug new and existing programs; perform performance monitoring. - Prepare software requirement documents, user manuals, and guidelines. - Generate statistical reports and provide status updates to management. - Assist developers, analysts, and designers in concept and design phases. - Plan and document phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Install software for end users and create scripts to enhance web applications. - Collaborate with network administrators, system analysts, and engineers to resolve software issues. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Linux OS and Python. - Front‑end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js. - Database knowledge (MySQL). - Software troubleshooting and debugging. - Understanding of data privacy practices and regulations. - Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred). - Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree. - No specific certifications required; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Linux, Python) are a plus.
