Job Description
Job Title: Investment Associate / Analyst – Secondary Fund Role Summary: Provide analytical support for Direct Secondaries investments in growth‑stage technology companies (Series B+). Execute valuation, financial modelling, due diligence, portfolio monitoring and reporting to enable informed investment decisions and maximize fund performance. Expectations: * 3–5 years in investment banking, venture capital, consulting or a tech start‑up. * Proven analytical and quantitative capabilities, strong command of English. * Proactive, self‑driven, collaborative team player comfortable engaging senior stakeholders. * Passion for technology markets, adaptable to fast‑moving environments. Key Responsibilities: * Build, audit and refine financial models, perform valuation and ratio analysis. * Source, screen and evaluate late‑stage tech investment opportunities. * Lead commercial, financial and legal due diligence; prepare business plans and deal documentation. * Monitor portfolio company performance against budgets and business plans; attend management and board meetings. * Analyze exit strategies, forecast industry trends for profitable exits. * Maintain portfolio data, relationships, and communications from board/management. * Produce investor updates, portfolio reports, and support fundraising initiatives. Required Skills: * Advanced financial modelling and valuation techniques. * Strong analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management. * Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and thrive in dynamic settings. * Deep interest and knowledge in technology sectors, trends, and players. Required Education & Certifications: * University degree from a top‑tier institution (any discipline). * CFA designation or equivalent highly preferred. * MBA or related advanced finance qualification is a plus.
