Job Description
Job Title: Business Insights Intern Role Summary: Supports Sales & Marketing teams by analyzing data, generating insights, and maintaining reports to inform business decisions. Focuses on ad-hoc analysis, competitive intelligence, and automation of reporting to improve organizational efficiency. Expectations: Candidates should be currently pursuing a relevant degree, demonstrate technical proficiency in data analysis tools, and possess strong communication skills. Must collaborate cross-functionally, manage multiple projects, and adapt to a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct deep-dive analysis of business performance and identify data-driven insights to drive outcomes - Synthesize market data, competitive intelligence, and financial trends to produce actionable reports - Automate and maintain recurring reports to ensure data accuracy and consistency - Support audits and updates of customer/master data to align sources - Analyze marketing loyalty programs and present recommendations through reports and presentations - Develop KPIs, scorecards, and reporting frameworks for business measurement - Assist in strategic projects related to retailer performance, product analysis, and sales initiatives - Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from Sales, Marketing, and stakeholder teams Required Skills: - Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUM/COUNTIF) - Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating clear, data-driven presentations - Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik Sense) preferred - Familiarity with Business Objects or similar data mining tools advantageous - Strong written/verbal communication, attention to detail, and teamwork orientation Required Education & Certifications: - Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field (expected graduation: May/December 2026). No certifications required.
