Job Description
Job title: Career Coach Facilitator Role Summary: Lead facilitation and on‑site coordination of Ontario Career Lab sessions with Grade 9‑10 students. Deliver engaging presentations, manage event flow, and coordinate volunteers, educators, and logistics to ensure a seamless, impactful career exploration experience. Expectations: * Provide dynamic, student‑centered facilitation in both virtual and in‑person formats. * Serve as the primary on‑site contact for all A/B event activities, maintaining professionalism and energy. * Build and sustain relationships with teachers, administrators, students, volunteers, and community partners. * Ensure compliance with data privacy, evaluation collection, and reporting standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. **Facilitation & Program Delivery** – Opening/closing presentations, manage pacing, adapt style, support student engagement, and represent the program credibly. 2. **Program Coordination & Logistics** – On‑site lead: set‑up, materials, technology, volunteer orientation, pre‑session briefing with Career Coaches, collaborate with teachers on schedules and accessibility. 3. **Stakeholder Engagement** – Foster relationships with educators, students, volunteers, employers, and partner orgs; support Career Coach recruitment. 4. **Evaluation & Reporting** – Administer post‑session surveys, maintain privacy compliance, document outcomes, submit concise reports to Program Management. 5. **Continuous Improvement** – Identify and propose enhancements in facilitation, logistics, volunteer experience, and program impact; share knowledge across the facilitation team. Required Skills: * Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and large group communication. * Strong organizational, time‑management, and adaptability skills. * Proficiency with digital coordination and reporting tools (e.g., scheduling software, data collection platforms). * Bilingual communication (English + French) – written and spoken. ASL/FSL proficiency is an asset. * Experience in youth or educational settings, career coaching, employment counselling, or workforce development. * Ability to facilitate both virtual and in‑person sessions. Required Education & Certifications: * Minimum: High‑school diploma. * Post‑secondary education in education, communications, or social sciences is an asset. * No specific certifications required, but experience in program coordination, training delivery, or facilitation (3–5 years) is preferred.
