Job Description
Job Title: Senior Solutions Architect – Microsoft Purview and SharePoint Role Summary: Lead design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise‑scale data governance, compliance, and records management solutions using Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365. Serve as a technical advisor to clients’ legal, compliance, security, and IT teams, translating regulatory requirements into robust, scalable architectures and guiding migration and deployment initiatives. Expectations: • Deliver end‑to‑end solutions that meet security, privacy, and compliance best practices. • Own full project lifecycle from architectural design to configuration, migration, testing, and production rollout. • Collaborate with cross‑functional client stakeholders to define data governance frameworks and retainability strategies. • Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills in a fast‑paced consulting environment. Key Responsibilities: - Architect Microsoft Purview initiatives covering Alerts, Auditing, Usage, Logs, eDiscovery (Standard & Premium), Communications, Information Barriers, Records Management (EDRMS), Data Lifecycle Management, Data Catalog, DLP, DSPM (including AI), Sensitivity Labels, and Insider Risk Management. - Define Purview architecture in alignment with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and non‑Microsoft workloads, ensuring integration with related security services. - Lead configuration, migration, testing, and deployment of Purview components; set up retention labels, policies, record declarations, disposition workflows. - Implement and manage eDiscovery cases, legal holds, collections, reviews, and exports, ensuring end‑to‑end legal hold integrity. - Translate legal, regulatory, and business requirements into technical compliance controls and advise on data governance best practices. - Support audit readiness and defensible data management, providing risk mitigation recommendations. Required Skills: - Deep expertise in Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 data governance, compliance, and records management. - Strong architectural design and implementation experience for enterprise‑scale solutions. - Proficiency with eDiscovery, retention policies, DLP, DSPM, sensitivity labels, and insider risk tooling. - Knowledge of SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, and related security services. - Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable technical controls. - Excellent communication and collaborative skills with enterprise legal, compliance, and IT stakeholders. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Microsoft Certifications: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Purview Data Governance, or equivalent Microsoft 365 security and compliance credentials. - Proven experience in enterprise data governance, compliance, and security projects.
