Job Description
Job Title: Hybrid Construction Document Controller (Procore Specialist) & Quality Assurance Operative Role Summary: Oversee project documentation and quality assurance within construction projects. Manage Procore system configuration, document flow, and version control. Conduct on-site QA inspections, maintain photographic evidence, and support continuous improvement of document and quality workflows. Expectations: - Deliver accurate and timely document control for design‑build residential projects. - Maintain compliance with warranty and quality standards. - Facilitate Procore adoption and troubleshoot issues for all stakeholders. - Perform stage inspections and defect resolution prior to critical milestones. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and maintain Procore folders, workflows, submittals, RFIs, and permissions. - Upload, categorize, and archive all project documents, enforcing version control. - Distribute technical documents to contractors, consultants, and internal teams. - Conduct periodic audits of Procore project folders for compliance. - Support tender and procurement documentation processes. - Develop and implement a QA protocol; carry out stage inspections, capture geo‑located photos, and record inspection findings. - Identify and resolve defects proactively, liaising with Projects Manager on recurring issues. - Deliver basic Procore training to staff and subcontractors. - Contribute to workflow and template improvements, and champion new Procore features. Required Skills: - Proven document control experience in construction or design‑build environments, preferably residential new‑build. - Strong document management, project documentation, and records management skills. - Proficiency with Procore software (setup, configuration, troubleshooting). - Experience in construction quality assurance processes. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. - Ability to work on‑site, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities. Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum of a Level 3 (or equivalent) Diploma in Construction Project Management or related field. - Procore Crown Certified – Procore Specialist (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
