Job Description

**Job Title:** Platform Business Analyst (SQL/Snowflake/AWS) **Role Summary:** Analyze, design, and maintain platform integrations and applications for insurance products, translating business requirements into technical solutions. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment, ensuring performance, security, and scalability of data and service layers. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate, timely solutions while adhering to security and coding standards. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, development, QA, and business partners. - Demonstrate integrity, self‑development, and customer focus. - Operate independently in a hybrid or remote setting within the continental US. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor platform performance, resolve incidents, and manage capacity. - Design, develop, test, configure, and maintain integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Mulesoft). - Review and refine business requirements; configure, code, and debug solutions. - Deploy and customize platform applications to meet company needs. - Produce technical documentation and status updates for cross‑functional teams. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies; manage backlog and requirements in JIRA. - Conduct unit and integration testing; support QA and demo sessions for stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with security, resilience, and data governance standards. **Required Skills:** - Business Systems Analysis with client‑facing experience (2+ years). - Insurance domain knowledge (Life, Absence, Disability). - Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, AWS, Salesforce, Mulesoft. - Strong JIRA/Agile/Scrum workflow management. - Ability to interface with Development, QA, and stakeholder groups. - Excellent written and verbal communication; problem‑solving orientation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Minimum two years of experience in release practices or comparable environments. - No visa sponsorship required; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
