Job Description
Job title: Financial Analyst (14‑Month Contract) Role Summary: Provide comprehensive accounting support and financial analysis, driving accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement across month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end cycles. Expectations: Deliver precise financial statements, variance analyses, and budget forecasts; maintain accurate inventory and capital expenditure records; support AP/AR and bank reconciliations; collaborate on process enhancements; provide reliable backup across finance functions. Key Responsibilities: - Execute month, quarter, and year‑end close activities, including accruals and journal entries. - Close and analyze financial statements, producing monthly variance reports against budget and prior year. - Create and maintain inventory bill of materials, coordinating physical counts and resolving discrepancies. - Manage capital expenditure and depreciation schedules. - Assist in annual sales and expense budgeting and forecasting. - Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts. - Perform bank reconciliations and related journal entries. - Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed. - Participate in financial projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills: - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts). - Strong written and verbal communication. - Excellent time‑management and prioritization. - Analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Detail‑oriented and accurate. - Self‑motivated, initiative‑driven, and open to feedback. - Adaptable and able to work both independently and in a team. **Job Title:** Supply Chain Analyst (14‑Month Contract) **Role Summary:** Plan, schedule, and monitor material flow through production. Generate weekly production plans, maintain data integrity in inventory management software, and perform analysis to identify and resolve supply‑chain inefficiencies. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate production schedules and material requirements within agreed timelines. - Ensure data accuracy and timely updates in the inventory and procurement systems. - Analyze performance data to recommend and implement improvements. - Communicate effectively with suppliers, operations, and cross‑functional teams. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Material Planning (30%)** – Forecast demand, coordinate raw‑material purchases, set reorder points, process POs, and manage supplier communication. 2. **Production Planning (30%)** – Schedule operations, monitor daily production, control costs, report status, and address disruptions. 3. **Supply Chain Analysis (20%)** – Track shipments, handle freight and customs logistics, analyze freight costs, monitor supplier performance, and mitigate supplier risk. 4. **Projects (20%)** – Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, participate in ERP roll‑out, support product development, RFQ processes, and produce performance reports. 5. **Miscellaneous** – Perform additional duties as assigned. **Required Skills:** - Production & material planning expertise. - Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Project and time‑management skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent experience. - Prior production‑planning experience preferred.
