Job Description
**Job Title:** Commercial Developer (Business Developer) **Role Summary** Drive new business growth by prospecting, qualifying, and closing commercial opportunities in the logistics and transport sector. Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing while maintaining accurate prospect data and contributing to marketing and brand presence. **Expectations** - Build and maintain a qualified prospect list aligned with commercial strategy. - Initiate outreach through phone, email, and social channels to secure meetings. - Identify client needs, deliver tailored proposals, and guide opportunities to closure. - Update CRM and reporting tools for accurate pipeline tracking. - Represent the company at events and on social media to build brand awareness. **Key Responsibilities** - Define and execute prospecting strategies using sales tools and networks. - Conduct first‑touch communications to set appointments and uncover client needs. - Participate in customer meetings; lead some transactions independently. - Draft commercial offers and proposals, collaborating with internal teams. - Monitor opportunity status, ensuring smooth progression to closing. - Contribute to online and event‑based marketing activities (LinkedIn, website, trade shows). - Represent the company at industry events, including occasional travel. **Required Skills** - Proven prospecting and cold‑calling techniques. - Strong communication and negotiation abilities. - CRM proficiency and data‑management skills. - Self‑motivation, organization, and the ability to work autonomously. - Comfortable using digital tools and social media for sales and outreach. - Basic professional English (oral and written). - Networking and relationship‑building in the logistics/transport domain. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum Bachelors (Bac +2 / Bac +3) in Commerce, Transport, Logistics, or related field. - Prior experience in freight/transport sales or commercial development is a plus.
