Job Description

Job title: Data Science Intern Role Summary: A part‑time summer internship focused on developing weather‑based features to improve predictive demand models, integrating external data into machine‑learning workflows, analyzing Google Ads performance, and contributing to additional ML feature development. Expectations: * Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program. * Independent work with proactive communication to the Data Science team. Key Responsibilities: * Engineer historical weather data features for demand‑prediction models. * Integrate external data sources into existing ML pipelines. * Support model testing, validation, and performance analysis. * Analyze Google Ads data to identify trends and optimization opportunities. * Assist in developing additional ML features, including potential Google Trends integration. * Create clear data visualizations and reports for stakeholders. Required Skills: * Strong analytical problem‑solving skills. * Proficiency in Python and SQL. * Familiarity with ML workflows (data preparation, feature engineering, model evaluation). * Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent). Required Education & Certifications: * Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field. * No specific certifications required.
