Job Description
**Job title** Sales Manager – Analytical Testing Services **Role Summary** Lead the commercial function for a laboratory-based analytical services business, driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and market expansion. Oversee sales operations, pricing, contract negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration to align commercial objectives with service delivery. **Expectations** - Deliver consistent revenue and margin targets while identifying new market opportunities. - Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and cultivate strategic account relationships. - Ensure commercial activities comply with corporate governance and regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with business objectives. - Identify and pursue new market opportunities and monitor market/competitive trends. - Lead and coach the sales team to hit revenue and KPI targets. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic clients. - Support major proposals, tenders, and contract bids; negotiate pricing and service terms. - Develop and manage pricing strategies; review proposals for significant contracts. - Prepare revenue forecasts, manage commercial budgets, and analyze sales data for improvement opportunities. - Provide regular commercial performance reports to senior leadership. - Partner with laboratory operations, technical teams, finance, and marketing for smooth handover and portfolio expansion. **Required Skills** - Sales leadership and business development in laboratory or B2B services. - Strong analytical and financial acumen (forecasting, budgeting, margin analysis). - Negotiation and contract management expertise. - Ability to develop pricing strategies and drive profitability. - Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Familiarity with regulatory-driven service markets is an advantage. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or related discipline (MBA preferred). - 3+ years of commercial management, business development, or sales leadership experience in laboratory services or B2B industries.
