Job Title: Content Specialist, Marketing
Role Summary:
Responsible for creating, editing, and managing investment‑focused content that effectively communicates complex ETF concepts to advisors, investors, and the Canadian market while ensuring compliance, consistency, and brand alignment across all channels.
Expactations:
- Collaborative partner to Marketing, Sales, Compliance, Operations, and Product teams.
- Deliver high‑quality content on strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Maintain accuracy, regulatory compliance, and tone consistency across all materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and edit market commentary, blogs, product updates, web content, newsletters, thought‑leadership pieces, and sales materials.
- Analyse content performance metrics, refine strategies, and report insights.
- Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with marketing and sales priorities.
- Translate and adapt messaging for multiple formats (digital, email, presentations, investor packets).
- Collaborate on media‑related content (press releases, announcements) and assist with social media/email marketing in a regulated context.
- Review and edit presentation materials, ensuring clarity, visual appeal, and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for fact‑checking and product positioning.
- Participate in special projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading; ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
- Bilingual fluency in English and French (native/near‑native).
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Demonstrated organization, multi‑tasking, and deadline management.
- High attention to detail, strong editorial judgment, and commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of regulated marketing environments, including basic social media or email marketing.
- Experience in financial services or asset management content creation.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) preferred, but not mandatory.
