Job title: Project Manager (EPC / Construction)
Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end delivery of medium–large electrical infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, on‑time, within‑budget completion that meets scope, quality, and regulatory standards.
Expactations: Deliver projects on schedule, within approved budgets, maintain high safety and quality levels, manage stakeholder expectations, and continuously improve project performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate project setup post‑award, securing team, budget, and documentation.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project execution plans, critical risk paths, and milestone schedules.
- Prepare and control construction schedules, costs, material/equipment/subcontract activities.
- Serve as primary client liaison, sustaining relationships and satisfaction.
- Maintain regular project reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Lead change management, documenting and approving all changes affecting cost, schedule, or scope.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation (plans, risk register, RFIs, change orders, safety, quality).
- Manage expenditures, align resource hour projections, oversee accounts receivable/payable processing.
- Convene project meetings, kick‑offs, change orders, recovery plans, lessons‑learned sessions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate project closeout and conduct post‑mortems with recommendations.
Required Skills
- Project Management (planning, scheduling, risk & change control).
- Cost control & budget management.
- Scheduling tools: Primavera, MS Project.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Project).
- Strong communication: interpersonal, oral, written.
- Analytical & problem‑solving ability.
- Team leadership and stakeholder management.
- Contract review and negotiation.
- Safety and environmental compliance knowledge.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
Required Education & Certifications
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- PMP or equivalent credential desirable.
- 3–5 years managing full‑cycle EPC/construction projects.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
