Job Title: Social Relations Officer
Role Summary:
The Social Relations Officer will coordinate and implement the national social relations policy of the organization at the local level, ensuring compliant and effective dialogue between human‑resources units, staff representatives, and management. The role involves program planning, legal support, and liaison across departments, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and legally compliant working environment.
Expectations:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in social relations, HR legal work, or a comparable role.
- Strong foundational knowledge of HR generalist functions, labor law, collective bargaining, and employee relations.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, communicate, and maintain confidentiality across multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive, autonomous, and detail‑oriented with a commitment to collective values.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deploy and coordinate the local implementation of the organization’s social relations strategy.
2. Facilitate and support the community of social‑dialogue actors (HR managers, line managers, CSE presidents, etc.) in daily practice.
3. Plan and manage annual social events and deadlines, ensuring adherence to national and local schedules.
4. Develop, maintain, and disseminate operational support tools (legal kits, interpretation grids, calendars).
5. Conduct themed awareness sessions on topics such as partial elections, expertise, and surveys.
6. Manage cross‑departmental social affairs dossiers (national elections, transfers, social barometers).
7. Consult and inform employee representative bodies on agreements and major projects.
8. Translate national collective agreements into local practice, monitor compliance, and communicate rollout to social partners.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in French labor law and collective bargaining processes.
- HR generalist competence, with understanding of recruitment, performance, and employee lifecycle.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Project management and organizational planning capabilities.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and teamwork.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Law, or related field.
- Official certification or recognized qualification in labor relations or HR (e.g., Diploma in Labor Law).
