Job Description
**Job Title** Supply & Demand Planning Internship **Role Summary** Assist the Global Supply Planning team in managing inventory and forecasting demand for selected brands. Provide operational reporting, coordinate production adjustments, analyze forecast accuracy, and support continuous process improvement initiatives. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, timely reporting on service levels, stock levels, and forecast reliability. - Maintain product availability while minimizing excess inventory. - Align production plans with market demand and coordinate adjustments with European manufacturing sites. - Analyze forecast versus actual sales, recommend corrective actions, and track implementation. - Identify and drive process optimizations across supply‑chain activities. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Back‑Office & Reporting** – Create and distribute operational dashboards on service levels, inventory status, and forecast accuracy. 2. **Supply Planning** – - Manage stock for specific brands independently. - Ensure production schedules reflect market demand. - Coordinate production adjustments with European factories. - Track brand‑level inventory trends, publish weekly reports, and propose action plans. - Handle obsolete, dormant, and quality‑blocked stock, defining and monitoring corrective actions. - Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing and inventory processes. 3. **Demand Planning** – - Own accurate sales forecasts for assigned brands. - Collaborate with commercial and marketing stakeholders to develop forecasts. - Identify variances between forecast and actual sales; recommend corrective actions. 4. **Project Management** – - Optimize existing processes. - Implement new processes to support business evolution. - Participate in cross‑functional projects. **Required Skills** - Advanced Excel proficiency; familiarity with Power BI, SAP, or equivalent analytics tools. - Strong analytical and data‑handling abilities. - Excellent organizational and project‑management skills; ability to juggle multiple projects. - Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities. - High level of rigor and attention to detail. - Fluency in French; excellent written and verbal English. - Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills; diplomatic and pedagogical approach. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment or recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. - Prior experience or coursework in supply‑chain planning, demand forecasting, or data analysis is a plus.
