Job title: Salesforce Business Analyst
Role Summary:
Business analyst responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing Salesforce process enhancements and new features, ensuring alignment with business needs and organizational strategy.
Expectations:
- Deliver high‑quality business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Manage multiple Salesforce projects independently in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
- Act as Salesforce subject‑matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication of project progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for Salesforce process improvements and feature development.
- Analyze current workflows, identify automation opportunities, and propose optimizations within Salesforce.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and functional specifications for configuration and development.
- Serve as Salesforce SME, providing guidance on platform best practices.
- Participate in defect resolution for Salesforce data, workflows, and integrations.
- Support UAT, test scenario creation, and quality assurance for enhancements.
- Partner with reporting/analytics teams to define and maintain dashboards and reports.
- Monitor and report on Salesforce metrics and KPIs.
- Maintain comprehensive process design, configuration, and lifecycle documentation.
- Communicate status updates and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Foster relationships with internal teams and external partners to promote Salesforce adoption.
Required Skills:
- Business analysis, product or project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom objects, flows, etc.).
- Experience in gathering & documenting Salesforce requirements.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker).
- Agile methodology familiarity and process documentation skills.
- Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Superior presentation and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
Required Education & Certifications:
- BA/BS in Business, Communications, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2+ years of business analysis, product, or project management with a Salesforce focus.
- Salesforce certifications (Business Analyst, Administrator) preferred.
