Job Description
**Job Title** Intern – Account Management **Role Summary** Assist the Account Management team in a risk‑management insurance environment by preparing data, monitoring client accounts, and supporting cross‑functional projects. The role emphasizes analytical work, operational support, and collaboration across underwriting, claims, and operations departments. **Expectations** - Complete tasks accurately and on schedule while maintaining high attention to detail. - Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with internal stakeholders. - Demonstrate initiative in learning insurance, healthcare benefits, and data analytics processes. - Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project objectives. **Key Responsibilities** - Prepare and clean data (GCD Database) for Salesforce migration. - Support senior account managers with routine account activities: monitoring premium status, preparing commission worksheets, and requesting aggregate reports. - Assist in gathering required documentation for policy issuance and Schedule A – Form 5500 information. - Coordinate with underwriting, claims, and operations teams on special projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer experience. - Participate in training, team meetings, and mentorship sessions to develop industry knowledge. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). - Familiarity with data tools such as Power BI or SQL is a plus. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - High organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. **Required Education & Certifications** - High school diploma (required). - Current enrollment in a bachelor’s program (Business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, or related field). - No specific certifications required.
