Job Description
Job Title: Senior Data Analyst – Temporary Role Summary: Lead data analysis for marketing and product optimization using SQL, Tableau, and large‑scale data tools. Serve as a data‑driven advisor to senior stakeholders, delivering insights, reporting, and dashboards that inform strategic decisions and drive revenue, retention, and engagement. Expectations: - Own the end‑to‑end analytics cycle on a temporary assignment, delivering actionable models and visualizations within defined timelines. - Act as a trusted partner to business leaders, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities: - Build, publish, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that expose optimization opportunities for marketing and product design. - Develop analytical models, algorithms, and techniques to evaluate product performance on key financial and engagement metrics. - Integrate game and player data from multiple source systems, performing data discovery and ensuring appropriate granularity for analysis. - Design on‑demand, self‑serve reports and interactive dashboards to support timely decision‑making. - Collaborate with product leadership to present findings and nurture a data‑driven culture. Required Skills: - 5+ years experience building, publishing, and managing Tableau dashboards. - Advanced SQL proficiency; experience with relational and non‑relational databases. - 3+ years integrating data visualization tools within a Big Data ecosystem. - Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, chart generation). - Excellent analytical, research, and interpersonal communication. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or related field. Preferred (not mandatory): - SQL/Hive/Spark, data mining, R, Python, mobile or social analytics experience. - Experience presenting insights to product leadership.
