Job Description
Job title: Quality Assurance Manager Role Summary: Oversee and conduct quality assurance audits, risk reviews, inspections, and reporting on internal processes and suppliers for a construction organization operating across multiple sites. Expectations: Deliver timely audit reports, ensure compliance with industry standards, reduce defects and claim rates, and maintain strong supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, execute, and document internal QA audits and risk assessments. - Conduct quality inspections on construction sites and supplier outputs. - Compile and analyze audit data, producing clear reports for management. - Identify non‑compliance issues and recommend corrective actions. - Monitor supplier performance and enforce contractual quality clauses. - Collaborate with project teams to integrate QA findings into project controls. - Maintain and update QA documentation, SOPs, and audit schedules. - Provide training and guidance on quality standards to site and supplier staff. - Ensure continuity of quality systems during site transitions and new project launches. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of construction QA/QC processes and relevant regulations (ISO 9001, BS 8500, ISO 14001, etc.). - Proficiency in audit methodologies and risk assessment frameworks. - Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving skills. - Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and QA management software. - Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. - Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent QA certification is highly desirable. - Additional relevant training in risk management or construction processes preferred.
