**Job Title:** IT Application Manager – Production/EHS
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of laboratory and EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) applications within a pharmaceutical environment. Manage end‑to‑end project lifecycles, ensure operational stability, compliance, and user adoption, while coordinating cross‑functional teams and external partners.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a comparable IT application/production role in the pharma industry.
- Proven track record delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance (GxP, data protection), and communicate effectively in English.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define, prioritize, and execute application projects for laboratory and EHS domains, from business need analysis to operational rollout.
- Produce and maintain functional specifications, functional design documents, and project documentation.
- Detect and resolve functional or technical issues; propose enhancements and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Oversee support & maintenance activities, guaranteeing performance, reliability, and security of production systems.
- Coordinate internal and external resources, manage project schedules, budgets, and risk registers, and report status to IT and business leadership.
- Lead change management: organize user training, knowledge transfer, and support during application deployments.
- Ensure applications comply with internal standards, pharmaceutical GxP regulations, and data protection requirements in collaboration with Quality, Compliance, and Information Security teams.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong project management expertise (methodologies, tools, multi‑disciplinary teams).
- Deep knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS) and EHS applications; extensive experience with MES and CMMS solutions (e.g., XFP, CORIM, SPHERA).
- Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications and to author technical documents (business cases, specifications, test plans).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Proficient in office productivity tools; fluent in written and spoken English.
- Experience driving continuous‑improvement initiatives and managing stakeholder relationships.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Engineer’s degree, Master’s, or equivalent Bac+4/5 in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- Additional certifications in GxP, ITIL, or pharmaceutical compliance are advantageous.
