Job Description: **Job title** Junior Python Developer – Migration Service (M/F) **Role Summary** A junior developer supporting data migration, integration, and validation workflows for a core business application. This role focuses on scripting, data import/export, SQL query development, and basic Django maintenance, with progressive autonomy under mentorship. **Expectations** - Rapid assimilation of project requirements and coding standards. - Deliver clean, testable code that meets functional specifications. - Demonstrate initiative in troubleshooting and improving existing scripts. - Contribute to documentation and unit testing. - Collaborate effectively within a small cross‑functional team. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop, maintain, and refactor Python scripts for data export, mapping, and integration. - Execute and supervise CSV and SQL database import/export operations. - Design, write, and optimize SQL queries (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite). - Fix data anomalies and apply simple bug fixes to the code base. - Perform minor updates and maintenance on the central Django application. - Write basic unit tests and ensure functional coverage. - Document workflows, scripts, and troubleshooting procedures. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Python (understanding of libraries, modules, and virtual environments). - Solid SQL knowledge (query design, data manipulation, performance considerations). - Familiarity with Git version control (commit, branch, merge). - Experience with data manipulation (CSV, basic ETL). - Ability to read and write clear technical documentation. - Strong problem‑solving aptitude and attention to detail. - Good communication skills and teamwork orientation. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s level (Bac+2/3) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. - No mandatory certification; practical knowledge of Python and SQL is essential.
