Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Technical Consultant – Tactical CTI **Role Summary:** Senior Tactical Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) analyst responsible for delivering high‑quality intelligence products, conducting advanced malware analysis, and supporting threat‑operations initiatives for UK and international clients. Engages with stakeholders from technical staff to executive leadership, provides training/mentoring, and may travel overseas for capacity‑building missions. **Expectations:** - Produce actionable strategic, operational, and tactical CTI deliverables. - Independently scope, plan, and execute CTI engagements. - Communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences. - Collaborate with internal threat‑operations team and external partners. - Maintain eligibility for UK security clearance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform static and dynamic analysis of previously unseen, advanced APT malware samples. - Respond to ad‑hoc CTI tickets and provide “CTI as a Service” support. - Monitor and profile threat‑actor TTPs for priority customers. - Contribute insights to the organization’s curated cyber threat intelligence repository. - Deliver training, mentoring, and capacity‑building sessions to foreign partners; travel overseas as required. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in static and dynamic malware analysis of sophisticated threats. - Strong analytical ability to contextualize technical data for non‑technical stakeholders. - Excellent written communication; concise, clear reporting. - Problem‑solving mindset with lateral thinking. - Influential communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to train and mentor non‑native English speakers and multicultural teams. - Self‑motivated; capable of independent and collaborative work in UK and abroad. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Relevant experience equivalent to CREST Registered Threat Intelligence Analyst (CRTIA) or GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) certification (certifications preferred but not mandatory). - Eligibility to obtain and maintain UK security clearance. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
