Vice President of Sales & Marketing
**Role Summary**
Executive leader responsible for driving revenue growth, brand positioning, and market expansion for a $50M+ quartz and solid surfaces company. Oversees sales and marketing across direct and distribution channels, builds high‑performance teams, and delivers aggressive revenue targets while traveling up to 80% of the time.
**Expectations**
- Deliver annual sales revenue >$50M and maintain profitability.
- Lead full sales cycle, from pipeline development to closing.
- Set and achieve quarterly/annual sales quotas and KPIs.
- Execute go‑to‑market strategies and expansion into residential, commercial, and builder segments.
- Drive brand, marketing, and demand generation initiatives.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, P&L, and pricing strategy.
- Maintain strategic trade relationships with builders, fabricators, and distributors.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Direct sales and marketing operations within a $50M+ revenue framework.
- Develop and execute sales methodology, quotas, and performance systems.
- Manage key accounts and high‑impact relationships.
- Analyze sales performance, costs, and results for continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic leadership on quartz manufacturing, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Identify and pursue new channel and builder program opportunities.
- Lead color development and product‑driven market initiatives.
- Oversee company‑wide marketing strategy, communications, and demand generation.
- Develop, mentor, and evaluate sales and marketing teams.
- Build and manage departmental budgets and operational procedures.
- Serve as liaison between executive leadership and major trade partners.
**Required Skills**
- Executive‑level sales & marketing leadership in surfaces/quartz or related manufacturing.
- Proven track record managing revenue >$50M annually.
- Forecasting, contracting, negotiation, budgeting, and change‑management expertise.
- Strong analytical and data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple initiatives.
- Deep customer lifecycle knowledge, segmentation, and vendor positioning.
- Strong market, competitive, and technology awareness.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% and work a flexible schedule.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field (required).
- MBA preferred.
- 7–10+ years senior‑level sales and/or marketing leadership experience, preferably in the surface industry.
