About the Company

L’ACIST, service social du travail interentreprises, est une association de plus de 60 ans d’existence, présente sur l’ensemble de la Normandie (départements 76, 27, 14, 61, 50). Elle intervient pour les entreprises ou organismes qui relèvent du secteur privé comme du secteur public, après adhésion.
Elle réalise un accompagnement social de proximité – au cœur de l’entreprise – et personnalisé en mettant à disposition de ses adhérents une équipe d'assistants Sociaux diplômés d’Etat pour aider, informer, conseiller et accompagner leurs salariés en prenant en compte leurs environnements professionnel et personnel.
L'ACIST apporte également un appui technique complémentaire aux services des Ressources Humaines dans la gestion des dossiers à forte implication sociale.

Job Description
Job Title: Workplace Social Service Assistant (H/F) Role Summary: Deliver comprehensive social support to employees at multiple company sites, providing face‑to‑face and telephone assistance. Advise users on rights, social benefits, and administrative procedures, and facilitate referrals to relevant agencies and institutions. Expectations: - Prior social work experience, preferably in an enterprise setting. - Hold or be in the process of obtaining the State Diploma of Social Service Assistant (DEASS) through VAE. - Valid driving licence (Permis B) and access to a personal vehicle for site visits. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct social assessments of employees encountering hardship (health, housing, financial, work‑related). - Advise on entitlement to social protection schemes (health, retirement, family, unemployment, housing). - Refer users to appropriate bodies (CAF, France Travail, CPAM, etc.). - Provide interventions in person at client sites and via telephone. - Identify root causes of socioeconomic imbalances affecting clients. - Maintain accurate records of cases and referrals. - Coordinate with local and national agencies to optimize support for clients. Required Skills: - In‑depth knowledge of French social security system and benefit eligibility. - Strong analytical, listening, and problem‑solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to manage multiple cases and travel between sites independently. Required Education & Certifications: - State Diploma of Social Service Assistant (DEASS) or active VAE for DEASS. - Valid driving licence (Permis B).
