Job Description
Job Title: Application Analyst III (Salesforce) Role Summary: Perform functional and technical analysis, design, documentation, testing, implementation, and support of Salesforce applications. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance workflows, resolve issues, and ensure system reliability and security. Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality analyses and documentation that drive continuous improvement. - Execute testing, training, and deployment activities within project timelines. - Provide 24/7 support, including on‑call rotation, and serve as a technical resource for end‑users and stakeholders. - Maintain compliance with change management, security policies, and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze current and future state workflows; conduct gap analysis and needs assessments. - Create design specifications, build documentation, test plans, project plans, status reports, and transition documents. - Coordinate unit, scenario, integration, capacity, and parallel testing. - Identify opportunities to optimize processes and implement efficiency enhancements. - Facilitating virtual or in‑person training sessions and producing training materials. - Resolve technical problems, perform root‑cause analysis, and document findings. - Manage system builds, patches, upgrades, and monitor performance. - Participate in vendor evaluation, selection, and procurement processes. - Support integration with peripheral devices (lab instruments, imaging modalities, etc.). - Contribute to development of departmental guidelines, standards, and policies. - Engage in on‑call rotation to provide continuous support. Required Skills: - Strong functional knowledge of Salesforce platform and related applications. - Expertise in workflow analysis, process mapping, and gap identification. - Proficiency in documentation tools and test planning. - Excellent communication and user‑training abilities. - Problem‑solving mindset; skilled in root‑cause analysis. - Knowledge of change management, security best practices, and compliance requirements. - Collaborative teamwork and ability to influence stakeholders. Required Education & Certifications: - High School Diploma or GED (Required). - Minimum 6 years of relevant application/SALESFORCE experience (Required). - Salesforce Platform Administrator certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire (Required). - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
