**Job Title**
Principal Salesforce Engineer
**Role Summary**
Lead architecture, development, and delivery of enterprise‑scale Salesforce solutions across multiple business units. Mentor engineering teams, drive adoption of best practices, and ensure alignment with business goals and user needs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Own all phases of the software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, release, and hyper‑care.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to explore and validate business needs.
- Design and build scalable, maintainable solutions using Salesforce Platform (Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Service Cloud).
- Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components; write Apex classes, triggers, and declarative Flows.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST and SOAP APIs.
- Implement embedded, assistive, and autonomous AI capabilities on the platform.
- Conduct org health checks, analyze diagnostics, and draft remediation plans.
- Apply version control, change sets, unlocked packages, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive adoption of reusable components and best practices within the Salesforce Center of Excellence.
- Support change management: end‑user training, deployment planning, and knowledge base contributions.
- Partner with InfoSec and Legal teams to develop security controls, data retention policies, and audit configurations.
**Required Skills**
- 10+ years Salesforce development experience; 12+ years overall software engineering.
- Proven track record delivering enterprise‑scale solutions across Sales, Revenue, and Service Clouds.
- Deep expertise in Lightning Web Components, Aura, Apex, and declarative Flows.
- Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations and CI/CD on Salesforce.
- Skilled in org health assessment and remediation.
- Knowledge of embedded AI, LWC, and SDRs.
- Familiarity with ETL tools, data pipelines, and data quality management.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security tools (field‑level encryption, event monitoring, audit trail).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect (Preferred).
- Agentforce Specialist certification (Preferred).
