Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer Role Summary: Lead and deliver structural steel, cladding, and fabrication projects within pharmaceutical and GMP environments, ensuring design integrity, construction compliance, and timely delivery while acting as the client’s technical representative. Expectations: - Complete a portfolio of projects on schedule and within budget. - Maintain full compliance with UK/ EU health & safety, CDM, and GMP regulations. - Deliver projects that meet client procedures and quality standards. Job Description
**Job title:** Project Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of multidisciplinary engineering projects (process, mechanical, civil, electrical) for a high‑hazard chemical site. Ensure projects meet business objectives, statutory and company safety, environmental and quality standards while staying within scope, schedule and budget. **Expectations:** - Projects delivered safely, on time, within budget and to specification. - Strong project governance and documentation maintained. - Continuous improvement in project delivery processes. - Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration. - Hands‑on, boots‑on‑the‑ground project delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain project scopes, schedules, budgets and resource plans. - Plan, coordinate and execute EPC/EPCM projects across process, mechanical, civil and electrical disciplines. - Manage contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution. - Conduct and lead project risk assessments, implementing mitigation strategies. - Maintain accurate project documentation: P&IDs, asset registers, change control records. - Drive stage‑gate reviews, reporting and performance tracking for governance. - Support commissioning, handover and integration of plant modifications or equipment. - Collaborate with Production, Engineering and EHS teams to ensure deliverables meet operational needs. - Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. **Required Skills:** - Minimum 5 years of engineering project delivery in a COMAH or high‑hazard environment. - Strong project management: planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management. - Technical knowledge of process safety methods (HAZOP, LOPA, ALARP). - Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder‑management skills. - Decision‑making under pressure, results‑driven attitude. - Proficiency in project governance, documentation and change control. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent). - Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is advantageous. - Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) preferred.
