Job Description
Job Title: Internal Sales Support Executive (Maternity Cover) Role Summary: Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, managing CRM data, fostering supplier relationships, coordinating project activities, and delivering reports to support UK and Ireland sales strategies. Expections: - 1‑12 month maternity cover assignment. - Working in a hybrid (remote & office) environment. - Ability to meet and track KPIs related to sales data and customer information. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as brand ambassador for internal and external stakeholders across UK and Irish construction markets. - Build and maintain relationships with contractors, distributors, and other supply‑chain partners. - Administer sales data and customer information in the CRM; ensure accuracy and timeliness. - Liaise with third‑party data agencies to research, verify, and coordinate project customer details. - Coordinate project handovers across regional and national teams, ensuring data standards are met. - Prepare and deliver up‑to‑date system reports supporting sales management and regional strategies. - Provide training and life‑cycle support for digital sales platforms to sales staff and customers. - Contribute voice‑of‑customer feedback to management to drive continuous improvement. Required Skills: - Experience in sales support, administration, or customer service within a technical or construction industry. - Proficiency in CRM systems and customer/project data management. - Understanding of B2B sales cycles and construction specification processes. - Strong communication and relationship‑building skills. - Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple teams. Required Education & Certifications: - High school diploma or equivalent (degree or relevant trade qualification preferred but not mandatory). - Certifications in CRM use or sales administration beneficial.
