Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Intelligence Analyst **Role Summary:** Bridge data infrastructure and business stakeholders by designing executive and departmental dashboards, conducting advanced analytics, and enabling self‑service insights in a modern e-commerce setting. **Expectations:** - Deliver actionable insights that influence strategic decisions. - Adopt data‑visualization best practices and maintain governance. - Support a high‑impact, rapidly evolving reporting environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and maintain Looker dashboards and KPI scorecards for leadership, marketing, merchandising, and operations. - Develop self‑service analytics solutions to reduce ad‑hoc reporting requests. - Write complex SQL queries against large datasets from diverse sources. - Respond to executive requests for special analysis and strategic insights. - Produce board‑presentation materials and executive briefs. - Conduct deep‑dive investigations of performance anomalies. - Train business users on Looker and self‑service capabilities; create user documentation and training materials. - Manage dashboard governance, user access, and support advanced analytical needs for power users. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years in business intelligence, reporting, or dashboard development. - Proficiency in Looker (preferred), with experience in LookML; knowledge of Tableau or Power BI is a plus. - Advanced SQL writing and query optimization. - Strong data‑visualization expertise and ability to translate findings into actionable insights. - Experience with e‑commerce metrics: conversion funnels, CAC, retention, channel attribution, ROI, product performance, demand planning, and margin analysis. - Excellent communication for C‑level presentations, stakeholder training, and documentation. - Project‑management skills to juggle multiple reporting priorities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related analytical field, **or** equivalent professional experience in business intelligence. - Relevant certifications (Looker, Snowflake, dbt, Google Analytics, etc.) are a plus.
