Job Description

**Job Title:** Data Science Co-Op **Role Summary:** Co‑op position focused on research, development, and implementation of machine‑learning features. Work with Python on Windows, Linux for model training, and AI libraries (TensorFlow/PyTorch) to build, evaluate, and improve deep‑learning models. **Expactations:** - Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. - Pursue a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. - Demonstrate strong programming abilities and effective communication. **Key Responsibilities:** - Train, test, and evaluate deep‑learning models. - Annotate and manipulate data (e.g., using Label Studio). - Develop PowerShell, Python, and VBA scripts for data acquisition, cleaning, and analysis. - Manage data and code with Git version control. - Document processes for repeatability. - Update training, testing, and validation datasets for specific ML models. - Configure Linux environments to accelerate model training. - Experiment with model architectures and data to enhance performance. - Participate in software design and testing activities. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Python and PowerShell; familiarity with VBA. - Experience with machine‑learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch). - Ability to use Git for source control. - Data annotation and preprocessing knowledge. - Basic Linux command‑line skills. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. - Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. - No specific certifications required; relevant coursework or project experience in machine learning preferred.
