Job Description
**Job Title** Health And Safety Consultant **Role Summary** A fixed‑term (up to 14 weeks) Health & Safety Consultant contract in a fast‑paced logistics environment. The role involves daily site presence, risk management, compliance reporting, stakeholder communication, and providing practical safety recommendations to a global logistics client. **Expectations** - Work onsite up to 10 hours per day, with occasional weekend hours. - Deliver accurate daily/weekly metrics and reports to management. - Conduct routine site inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments. - Liaise with project teams, stakeholders, and management to advise on control measures. - Utilize a bespoke health & safety reporting platform. **Key Responsibilities** - Record and maintain daily and weekly health & safety metrics. - Report findings to onsite management using corporate reporting systems. - Support the project team with compliance to health & safety regulations. - Conduct regular site walks and inspections throughout the day. - Prepare and review risk assessments, emphasizing detail and practicability. - Deliver toolbox talks and other safety briefings. - Attend and chair meetings with stakeholders and project teams. - Recommend and advise on risk mitigation measures, including ergonomics and safety controls. **Required Skills** - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Strong teamwork and stakeholder engagement. - Self‑management and initiative. - Problem‑solving and critical thinking. - Ability to review and refine risk assessments. - Knowledge of RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements). - Comfortable using bespoke health & safety reporting platforms. **Required Education & Certifications** - NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent. - Current CSCS card. *Preferred/Optional* - Experience as a Health & Safety Consultant, Advisor, or similar role. - Experience working on industrial warehouse or logistics projects.
