Founded in 1849, the company begins as a foundry and mechanical construction plant for the sugar industry and develops the manufacture of copper pipes. It began valves production in 1920 to meet the needs of sugar factories.

Today, the company is known as PVI (Picardie Valves Industries) and has been manufacturing for over 90 years a wide range of high quality, high performance industrial valves including butterfly valves, ball valves, control valves and pressure relief valves. Our industrial valves SAPAG and GACHOT are dedicated to various types of industries, including fire protection, water treatment works, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, oil and gas, offshore, chemical process, energy production, shipbuilding, desalination plants, food and beverage, paper mills, sugar factories, dry bulk transport, mines, cement plants and general industries. We currently export more than 50% of our production on 5 continents.

**Job Title:** IT Specialist (M/F) **Role Summary:** Provide comprehensive IT support for the site’s operations, ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of all hardware, software, and network resources. Drive continuous improvement of business applications, implement new technologies, and manage IT budgets to enhance internal service quality and plant performance. **Expectations:** - Maintain uninterrupted operation of IT infrastructure and applications. - Deliver effective user support and change‑management training. - Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance. - Contribute to cost‑effective budgeting and investment planning. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deploy and upgrade site IT assets (ERP, servers, software, Wi‑Fi). - Manage and safeguard business databases, guaranteeing integrity and reliability. - Draft and maintain procedural documentation and system specifications. - Define functional requirements for system upgrades (e.g., ERP versioning). - Perform application development, debugging, and ad‑hoc enhancements. - Serve as primary user support, providing training materials and onsite assistance. - Anticipate industrial IT trends and propose innovative solutions. - Continuously improve internal service responsiveness, turnaround times, and quality. - Implement security measures to protect data from internal and external threats. - Develop tools to boost plant performance (e.g., On‑Time‑Delivery metrics). - Prepare and monitor annual operational IT budget; track financial performance. - Create and oversee projected investment budgets, ensuring alignment with management approvals. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of ERP systems, server administration, and networking (Wi‑Fi). - Proficiency in database management (SQL) and data integrity assurance. - Programming/debugging abilities in relevant languages (e.g., Java, C#, VBA). - Excellent user support and training delivery skills. - Familiarity with IT security best practices and data protection. - Project management and budgeting competence. - Analytical mindset with ability to translate industrial needs into IT solutions. - Effective communication in French and English (written and verbal). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA, ERP-specific certification (e.g., SAP).
