Job Description
Job Title: Business Developer – Remote Role Summary: Own and grow a high‑quality pipeline of classic vehicle consignments in France via high‑volume outbound prospecting and consultative selling. Source premium classic cars, guide sellers through valuation and auction readiness, and close sales to achieve sell‑through targets and revenue growth on the company’s online auction platform. Expactations: Deliver on clear commercial outcomes—secured listings, sell‑through rate and revenue contribution. Maintain rigorous CRM (HubSpot) standards, demonstrate autonomy in a fully remote environment, and meet or exceed sales targets while representing the brand in enthusiast communities. Key Responsibilities: - Build and manage a pipeline from first contact through listing and sale. - Conduct high‑volume outbound prospecting and rapid prospect qualification. - Source premium classic vehicles that meet quality, provenance and presentation standards. - Advise sellers on valuation, reserve setting and auction readiness. - Deliver a consultative, value‑based selling experience and close deals. - Grow the French classic car category through outreach, market mapping and relationship building with collectors, dealers and clubs. - Match listings with appropriate buyers to increase bidding engagement and sell‑through. - Maintain complete CRM hygiene (HubSpot) and provide market insights to Commercial, Marketing and Product teams. Required Skills: - Confidence and energy in outbound prospecting; strong on‑phone communication. - Consultative, discovery‑driven selling with objection handling. - Deep knowledge of classic cars—models, specs, provenance, pricing and buyer psychology. - Highly organized, accountable and relentless in pipeline progression and CRM maintenance. - Relationship building with trust, clear communication and commercial judgment. - Results‑focused, target‑driven, resilient, competitive and motivated by performance. - Ability to work autonomously in a remote, high‑trust setting. - Collaborative with internal teams (photography, valuations, marketing, commercial). - Fluent in English and French (written and spoken). Required Education & Certifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; no specific degree required. - Relevant automotive sales or business development experience preferred.
