Job Description
**Job Title:** GenAI Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain production‑grade large language model (LLM) applications and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) pipelines. Ensure model accuracy, reliability, and responsible AI compliance while collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver AI‑driven business value. **Expactations:** - Minimum 2 + years of hands‑on experience building and deploying LLM‑based systems. - Ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Commitment to responsible AI practices, bias detection, and model transparency. - Proactive mentorship of team members on GenAI capabilities and limitations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and operate production‑ready LLM applications using orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI). - Engineer prompts, context handling, and guardrails to meet enterprise standards. - Develop and optimize inference pipelines for consistent output quality. - Implement systematic evaluation workflows with tools such as DeepEval or Langfuse, including human‑in‑the‑loop reviews. - Design and maintain RAG components, including vector databases and document‑processing pipelines. - Define use cases, KPIs, and success metrics in partnership with product and engineering teams. - Provide technical guidance and training on GenAI adoption and responsible use. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in Python. - Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, AgnosAI or similar). - Hands‑on knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) and retrieval engines (FAISS, OpenSearch, Chroma). - Familiarity with LLM evaluation tools (DeepEval, Langfuse) and related methodologies. - Strong understanding of responsible AI, bias mitigation, and model interpretability. - Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical discipline. - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Azure AI Engineer Associate) are a plus but not mandatory.
