Job Description: Job Title: LATAM Game Developer (JavaScript) Role Summary: Contracted developer responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining JavaScript-based game components within a cross-functional production pipeline. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality code on schedule, adhere to project specifications, participate actively in code reviews, and adapt to evolving design and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, test, and debug game logic and interactive features using JavaScript and HTML5/WebGL technologies. - Collaborate with designers, artists, and quality assurance to integrate assets and meet gameplay objectives. - Optimize performance for desktop, mobile, and browser platforms, ensuring smooth frame rates and efficient memory usage. - Maintain clean, modular codebases in Git, documenting changes and following coding standards. Required Skills: - Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) with experience in game frameworks such as Phaser, Three.js, or similar. - Solid understanding of game physics, animation timing, and input handling. - Familiarity with rendering pipelines (Canvas, WebGL) and browser performance profiling. - Experience with version control (Git) and build tools (Webpack, Gulp). - Ability to write unit tests, perform debugging, and engage in peer code review.
