**Job title** Business Development Representative **Role Summary** The Business Development Representative drives new customer acquisition for a SaaS manufacturing solutions platform. The role blends outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow‑up, and partnership with Account Executives to transform prospects into qualified opportunities. **Expectations** - Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity, pipeline, and revenue metrics. - Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in Salesforce, including activities, leads, opportunities, and accounts. - Deliver a high volume of outbound calls, emails, and social outreach, and respond promptly to inbound inquiries. - Collaborate in strategic weekly go‑to‑market meetings and support in‑person events/webinars. - Comply with U.S. Export Control Laws, U.S. Citizenship/Green Card holder requirement, and security/privacy rules. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Execute outbound multichannel prospecting (telephone, email, social networks). 2. Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach, and other tools for lead generation. 3. Manage and document all sales activities in Salesforce. 4. Identify and research potential leads via internet and industry sources. 5. Qualify inbound leads and nurture prospects to convert into opportunities. 6. Support marketing by directing prospects to events and webinars. 7. Work with Account Executives to target and engage key accounts. 8. Participate in weekly go‑to‑market strategy sessions. 9. Ensure adherence to export control, security, and privacy requirements. 10. Contribute to company‑wide DEI and social impact initiatives. **Required Skills** - Proven outbound prospecting and lead‑generation experience. - Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and sales automation tools. - Strong verbal and written communication, influencing, and urgency skills. - Ability to research and evaluate new leads efficiently. - Comfortable with remote collaboration tools and data entry. - Knowledge of U.S. export control regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR) and compliance practices. - Adaptability in a fast‑growing startup environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience. - No specific certifications required, though familiarity with SaaS or cloud platforms is a plus.
