Job Description

Job Title: Apex Development Engineer Role Summary: Engineer responsible for evolutionary maintenance and new feature development of a financial management ERP. Works within a research and development team to enhance and refactor existing code, produce specifications, and ensure quality compliance. Expectations: • Minimum of 1‑2 years of software development experience. • Strong command of Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, SQR, and XML. • Familiarity with Forms, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. • Understanding of general accounting or ERP concepts preferred. • Ability to work independently, self‑learn, and communicate clearly with support, testing, and consulting teams. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement new application features. • Evolve existing application windows and user interfaces. • Refactor and improve legacy code for performance and maintainability. • Transfer knowledge to support, testing, and consulting teams. • Apply quality procedures and development standards. • Draft functional specifications, design documents, and user documentation. • Participate in requirement analysis meetings with support staff. Required Skills: • Oracle APEX development • PL/SQL programming • SQR reporting • XML handling • Oracle Forms (secondary) • Front‑end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (secondary) • Strong analytical, precision, and documentation skills Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Engineer or Master 2) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. • Proven experience in software development, preferably in enterprise ERP environments.
