Job Description
Job title: Technical Business Analyst (Contract) Role Summary: Own and drive the end‑to‑end definition, documentation, validation, and sign‑off of business and technical requirements for data‑sharing platforms. Serve as the primary interface between clients and delivery teams, ensuring clear, traceable, and audit‑ready artifacts that support effective project delivery. Expectations: Deliver precise, agreed requirements that serve as the single source of truth; maintain traceability from contract scope through design to delivered functionality; present findings and progress to senior and regulatory stakeholders; continuously improve documentation standards and practices. Key Responsibilities • Lead client requirement discovery (interviews, workshops, analysis sessions). • Own definition, documentation, validation, and formal sign‑off of business and technical requirements. • Author and maintain technical documentation of platform functionality, configurations, and delivery outcomes. • Collaborate with engineers and architects to capture solution behavior and translate it into clear documentation. • Present requirements and solutions to clients, addressing clarification questions. • Ensure internal teams share a consistent understanding of scope and delivered functionality. • Prepare structured presentation materials for senior and regulatory audiences. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation templates, standards, and analysis practices. Required Skills • ≥5 years of Business Analyst/Consultant experience in technology, banking, or professional services. • Strong client‑facing skills: conducting workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement sign‑off. • High‑quality written documentation: business requirements, technical specifications, platform docs, client deliverables. • Presentation and communication skills for senior and regulatory audiences. • Experience working with software engineering teams in delivery environments. • Solid understanding of software delivery concepts, APIs, and platform‑based solutions. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Required Education & Certifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. • Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI‑PBA, or equivalent preferred (not mandatory).
