Job Description
Job Title: Speakers & Leadership Development Facilitators Role Summary: Serve as subject‑matter experts and engaging presenters delivering high‑impact learning for board leaders, executive officers, brokers, managers, and REALTORS® across Ontario. Facilitate OREA’s Leadership and Professional Development programs, transforming complex concepts into actionable strategies. Expectations: - Deliver dynamic, customized sessions aligned with OREA’s curriculum and participant needs. - Demonstrate strong facilitation and audience engagement to ensure knowledge retention and application. - Prepare and present professional materials, including clear learning outcomes and follow‑up resources. - Collaborate with OREA’s curriculum team to align content with industry priorities and regulatory updates. - Maintain up‑to‑date expertise in governance, leadership, business strategy, technology, and related topics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and present workshops, keynote speeches, and training modules on topics such as Governance & Board Effectiveness, Leadership Development, Emotional Intelligence, Ethics, Business Management, Negotiation, Business Strategy, Technology & AI, Culture & Change, Social Media & Marketing, and Mental Health. 2. Lead interactive facilitation, ensuring inclusive participation, critical discussion, and experiential learning. 3. Evaluate participant feedback, self‑assess performance, and adapt content for continuous improvement. 4. Provide briefing materials, slide decks, and handouts that reinforce learning objectives. 5. Represent OREA at events and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote professional development initiatives. Required Skills: - Proven facilitation and presentation proficiency with substantial audience engagement experience. - Ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences. - Strong communication, storytelling, and coaching abilities. - Strategic thinking and ability to connect industry trends to practice. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Business, Education, Communication, Real Estate, or related field. - Advanced certification or training in facilitation, coaching, or leadership (e.g., C-CLT, PCC, or equivalent industry credentials). ---
