Job Description
Job Title: Deputy Quality Assurance Manager Role Summary: Assists the Quality Assurance Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s quality management system. Provides leadership during audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives; ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Expectations: - Deliver on quality objectives and KPI targets. - Actively support continuous improvement efforts. - Maintain high product quality and customer satisfaction. - Foster a culture of quality throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing audit schedules, documenting findings, and tracking corrective actions. - Manage CAPA processes: investigate nonconformances, root cause analysis, implement corrective/preventive actions, and verify effectiveness. - Monitor supplier quality, conduct supplier audits, and review supplier performance metrics. - Oversee product inspections (incoming, in-process, final), ensuring compliance with specifications. - Maintain and update quality documentation—standard operating procedures, work instructions, forms, and records. - Train and mentor quality team members and cross-functional staff on quality policies, tools, and best practices. - Analyze quality data, generate trend reports, and present findings to management. - Support product change control, configuration management, and product release processes. Required Skills: - Deep knowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, GMP, etc.). - Proven audit and nonconformance management experience. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and root cause analysis abilities. - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills. - Detail‑oriented with rigorous documentation discipline. - Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Professional certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or other recognized quality credentials.
