Job Description
**Job Title:** Client Development Lead **Role Summary:** Lead client account management and business development for key UK and global customers. Build deep relationships with senior stakeholders, develop and execute account strategies, identify growth opportunities, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to secure new business and retain existing contracts. **Expectations:** - Drive revenue growth and achieve/set strategic account targets. - Deliver high‑quality, on‑time outputs and maintain clear communication across internal teams and external partners. - Exhibit strong business acumen, stakeholder management, and a proactive approach to change. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and nurture long‑term relationships with key client executives and sponsors. - Conduct regular review meetings; prepare and present account reviews. - Develop and implement strategic plans that identify and maximize growth opportunities within each account. - Draft and enforce client handling instructions and manage scorecards. - Collaborate with Practice Heads to define targets, feed budget forecasts, and drive specialist service uptake. - Support the Client Services Lead in revenue tracking, pipeline management, and progress monitoring. - Identify and create promotional and differentiator content for tenders, proposals, and due‑diligence responses. - Produce and coordinate tender and presentation materials with the wider commercial team. - Manage multiple deadlines, action owners, and deliverables across projects and events. - Represent the firm at conferences, client meetings, and other external engagements. - Travel nationally and internationally as required to support client and business development objectives. **Required Skills:** - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Proven relationship‑building and stakeholder management across senior levels. - Demonstrated experience in winning new business and expanding existing contracts. - Strong project and deadline management with attention to quality. - Ability to collaborate across practice areas and functional teams. - Willingness to travel within the UK, Ireland, and globally. - Familiarity with account‑management software and CRM systems. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Minimum 5 years of progressive account‑management or business‑development experience in a professional services setting. - Professional certifications such as Certified Business Development Professional (CBDP) or equivalent preferred.
