**Job title** Healthcare Data Associate **Role Summary** Translate complex Medicaid and Medicare data into actionable insights that inform strategy, improve quality metrics, and support decision‑making across the organization. **Expectations** - Minimum 5 years of progressive data analyst experience in healthcare. - At least 2 years of hands‑on SQL (complex queries, data validation). - Proven expertise in quality reporting and HEDIS analysis; risk‑adjustment knowledge preferred. - Experience with EHR, claims, pharmacy, or other population‑health datasets. - Familiarity with ICD‑10, CPT, SNOMED, LOINC, and HIPAA privacy requirements. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct data analyses to uncover trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities in quality metrics. - Design and maintain clear, visually compelling dashboards and reports for quality, compliance, and executive audiences. - Collaborate with Quality Operations to surface performance insights and drive improvement plans. - Partner with Technology teams to streamline data pipelines and enhance analytic capabilities. - Standardize and automate recurring analytics workflows to support scalability. - Validate the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of all analytics outputs. - Analyze pilot and launch results to inform iterations and learning. **Required Skills** - Advanced SQL coding and data validation. - Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent). - Statistical analysis and quality indicator analysis (HEDIS). - Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulatory compliance (HIPAA). - Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences. - Strong organizational and detail‑oriented skills; ability to manage multiple priorities. - Independent initiative combined with cross‑functional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field. - Preferred certifications: SQL, Power BI/Tableau, AHIMA or other healthcare analytics credentials.
