**Job Title:** Sales Director (M/F)
**Role Summary:**
Leads the commercial strategy and execution for a portfolio of events, driving revenue growth in line with business plans and overall company strategy. Manages and develops a sales team, optimizes resource allocation, and ensures high‑performance culture while collaborating with marketing, event directors, and finance.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver assigned revenue targets and profitability for designated events.
- Build and maintain a high‑performing sales organization.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and budget control.
- Align commercial actions with corporate HR and diversity policies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and implement commercial development strategies for assigned events, including sales arguments and support materials.
- Create, execute, and monitor action plans, sales cycles, milestones, and key dates.
- Manage prospect databases, conduct target analyses with marketing, and oversee sectorization.
- Track performance metrics (revenue, surface, etc.), generate regular reports, and adjust tactics as needed.
- Supervise budgeting, revenue forecasts, and follow‑up on receivables with Sales Administration.
- Evaluate commercial activities, propose corrective actions, and contribute post‑event debriefs with recommendations for future editions.
- Organize team assignments, forecast hiring needs, and optimize workload distribution.
- Coach, mentor, and develop sales staff; conduct performance reviews.
- Ensure end‑to‑end commercial delivery, including travel to events (≈2 trips/month, domestic and international).
- Participate in the design and improvement of sales processes, tools, and best‑practice methods.
- Enforce HR policies and maintain a positive social climate within the team.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven sales leadership with at least 3 years in a similar director‑level role.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and synthesis abilities.
- Excellent client‑service orientation and organizational skills.
- Effective communication, transparency, and natural empathy.
- Ability to coach, develop talent, and drive team performance.
- Proficiency in English (fluent) for internal and external communication.
- Comfortable with data‑driven decision making and KPI monitoring.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or related field.
- No specific certifications required; relevant professional experience is essential.
