Job Title: Global Category Manager – Specialty Paper Role Summary: Strategic leader responsible for global sourcing of specialty paper categories, driving cost optimization, supply risk mitigation, and supplier performance. Develop and execute category strategies to support business priorities, with a focus on international markets. Expactations: 7+ years in strategic sourcing/procurement; proven expertise in global specialty paper sourcing; track record in cost savings/value creation; ability to influence senior stakeholders. Requires strong analytical, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Advanced degree preferred (MBA advantageous). Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement global category strategies aligned to business goals. - Lead sourcing/negotiation initiatives to achieve measurable cost savings. - Analyze market trends, spend data, and risks to optimize total cost of ownership. - Manage supplier performance, contracts, and KPIs via SLAs. - Drive supply chain improvements and innovation across global supplier networks. - Deliver data-driven insights to inform executive decision-making. Required Skills: Strategic sourcing; supplier management; contract negotiation; market/spend analysis; cross-functional stakeholder engagement; ERP systems (Infor LN preferred).
