**Job Title**
Intern – OGDC Industry Outreach
**Role Summary**
The intern supports the Oil and Gas Decarbonization Charter (OGDC) Industry Outreach practice, assisting the Programme Manager with delivery of multi‑year decarbonization activities, stakeholder coordination, data analysis, and communications. The role involves preparing materials for events, webinars, workshops, and high‑level meetings, conducting research on regulatory and climate policy, and ensuring alignment across signatory companies and partner organisations.

- Collaborate with a small, cross‑functional team to enhance programme execution.
- Maintain clear, timely communication with OGDC signatories, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and research skills to support evidence‑based decision‑making.
- Produce concise written outputs (slides, briefing notes, summaries) and deliver oral presentations as needed.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Programme Delivery Support** – Assist in the implementation of OGDC multi‑year activities: case‑study preparation, webinars, roundtables, workshops, mentorships, and new signatory outreach.
2. **Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination** – Prepare meeting agendas, notes, follow‑ups; track relationships; coordinate with OGCI Strategy & Policy, consultants, industry associations, and technical experts.
3. **External Engagement & Communications** – Draft talking points, briefing notes, presentations, and engagement materials for OGDC leadership at major forums; support logistics for roundtables, workshops, panels, and conferences.
4. **Research & Analysis** – Conduct background research on geopolitical, regulatory, and climate policy developments; perform data analysis and create executive‑level summaries using Excel or similar tools.
5. **Administrative & Logistical Support** – Manage event summaries, internal updates, and coordinate logistics for in‑person meetings and bilateral engagements.
**Required Skills**
- Passion for climate action and low‑carbon transition.
- Rapid learning and synthesis of complex topics; clear written and oral communication.
- Strong organisational skills with capacity to multitask in a small team environment.
- Basic research and data‑analytics proficiency (Excel, data models).
- Experience or knowledge of climate change, energy, and climate institutions is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to engage stakeholders, facilitate information sharing, and support high‑level presentations.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Current undergraduate or graduate student (or recent graduate) in environmental science, energy engineering, business, economics, political science, or a related discipline.
- No specific certifications required, though familiarity with climate policy or low‑carbon technologies is advantageous.
