Job Description
Job Title: Account Manager – Contract Role Summary: Contracted Account Manager (March–August 2026) overseeing integrated marketing campaigns for sports, music, and entertainment events. Manages client relations, production of live events and digital content, campaign budgeting, and cross‑functional execution, ensuring high‑quality delivery within tight timelines. Expectations: - Deliver exceptional client service and maintain proactive communication. - Lead end‑to‑end campaign execution: strategy, approvals, production, and post‑event wrap‑up. - Own budgeting, financial reconciliation, and cost‑control. - Mentor and manage team members (Brand Ambassadors, Coordinators, Account Executives). - Continuously improve processes and contribute to agency culture. Key Responsibilities: - Build and nurture trusted client relationships; act as client’s advocate. - Collaborate with internal departments (creative, media, production, finance) to fulfill client needs. - Coordinate event production logistics (travel, permits, on‑site management). - Develop, present, and monitor program budgets; reconcile variances with finance. - Lead, train, and manage a team of executors as required. - Resolve client issues, adapt plans under shifting priorities, and ensure on‑time delivery. - Support business operations: process improvement, policy implementation, and ancillary projects. Required Skills: - 3–5 years experience as account lead or project manager, preferably in an agency setting. - Proven live‑event production experience. - Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and multi‑tasking abilities under tight deadlines. - Excellent written and verbal communication; client‑facing presentation skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft 365, social and digital media platforms. - Knowledge of alcohol industry regulations and best practices. - Familiarity with sports marketing and partnership ecosystems (asset). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. - Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM) or equivalent is preferred.
