Must demonstrate a proactive approach, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to collaborative teamwork. **Key Responsibilities:** - Edit and proofread legal correspondence, documents, and forms. - Open files, perform conflict checks, and maintain compliance with firm protocols. - Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy. - Manage administrative functions including time entry, billing, scheduling, calendar, and email organization. - Transcribe digital voicemails and short dictations. - Coordinate administrative tasks across departments to support client needs. - Organize electronic and physical files. **Required Skills:** - Strong organizational and follow-up abilities with attention to detail. - Proficiency in proofreading and document preparation. - Excellent time management and multi-tasking capabilities. - Effective communication and problem-solving skills. - Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines. - Basic understanding of legal terminology or willingness to learn. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Community college certificate/diploma or equivalent experience. - Minimum 2 years of administrative experience. - Law firm experience preferred, though not mandatory.
