Job Description

**Job Title** Automation & Robotics Engineer (F/M) **Role Summary** Design, program, test, commission and support automated systems and industrial robots for customers locally and internationally. The role blends laboratory work, field installations, project oversight and technical support, requiring a strong foundation in Siemens automation and robotic programming. **Expectations** Deliver reliable, high‑performance automated solutions from concept to operation while ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards and client requirements. Liaise with sales, maintenance, and engineering teams to provide technical excellence and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct technical studies: write specifications, requirements documents, and test reports. - Design and program automation systems using Siemens TIA Portal, Simotion Scout, and motion control modules. - Program KUKA and/or FANUC robots for application tasks. - Perform workshop trials (France or Germany) and prepare equipment for customer installation. - Commission systems on customer sites (domestic and abroad). - Lead technical sub‑projects within expertise area. - Support sales with technical proposals and demonstrations. - Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance, providing field support. - Train maintenance personnel and operators at customer sites. - Produce and maintain technical documentation in French and English. - Monitor technology trends, propose optimisations, and report lessons learned. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal and Simotion Scout. - Motion control programming and integration. - KUKA and/or FANUC robot programming. - Ability to read and analyse electrical schematics. - Good command of English (written and spoken). - Strong teamwork, communication, rigor, and technical curiosity. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s +5 (Engineer or Master’s) in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Computing. - Industry certifications in Siemens automation or robotics (preferred). ---
