**Job Title:** Volunteer Part‑time Intern – Communications & Content Writing **Role Summary:** Support FedEthics’ growing public presence by producing high‑quality bilingual (French/English) written content across multiple formats and channels. The role is remote, 10–15 hours per week, ideal for a student or early‑career professional with strong writing skills and an interest in AI ethics, data governance, or public policy. **Expectations:** - Bilingual proficiency in French and English (reading, writing, editing). - Availability for 10–15 hours weekly with flexible scheduling to meet editorial deadlines. - Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and maintain consistent brand voice. - Demonstrated interest in AI ethics, data governance, digital transformation, or related public‑sector topics. **Key Responsibilities:** - Write, edit, and proofread articles, blog posts, newsletters, opinion pieces, and web content in both languages. - Assist in drafting press releases, public announcements, and other external communications. - Create and adapt LinkedIn and other social‑media posts for French and English audiences. - Translate and localize content while preserving tone, intent, and clarity. - Contribute to and maintain a coherent editorial calendar. - Repurpose long‑form material into shorter digital formats. - Conduct basic research to support content development. **Required Skills:** - Excellent bilingual writing, editing, and proofreading abilities. - Strong attention to detail and capacity to adjust tone for target audiences. - Good organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines. - Basic research proficiency. - Familiarity with content strategy for LinkedIn and other social platforms (preferred). - Experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Express (optional). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, Marketing, or a related field. - No formal certifications required.
